Verizon and InnoavtionStudio created the 5G Studio to support the development of next-generation applications that will transform industries such as mobility, energy, industrial automation, and more, by leveraging Verizon’s Ultra Wideband 5G network and Mobile Edge Compute (MEC) capabilities that are core components to the Verizon network installed at InnoavtionStudio.

From autonomous mobile robots and autonomous moving wheels, to sensors for hyper-accurate location data and machine learning & AI for object detection, the companies in this third cohort were selected for their potential to reimagine the future of warehousing and manufacturing using the power of 5G.

IronYun (Stamford, CT) – Video intelligence platform, Vaidio™, provides AI-enabled video search and analytics for security, health, safety, and operations. The Vaidio Platform orchestrates multiple 4th generation AI video analytics engines to provide higher accuracy and lower total costs across the industry’s broadest array of video analytics.
Orangewood (San Francisco, CA) – Manufacturing industrial robotics arms (cobots) affordable to small businesses, leveraging proprietary AI/ML solutions to drive down hardware costs. Their robotic arms are easy-to-use, collaborative, and tele-operable designed for industrial processes to increase throughput and solve labor shortages. Their use cases include Pick & Place, Machine Welding, Powder Coating, and Spray Painting
SixDof (Jerusalem, Israel) – Created an optical tracking device, patent-pending technology leverages visible or infrared lighting to serve as location beacons. Embedded in any manufacturer’s existing hardware, our products will independently report accurate position at a very high speed, up to 1000 times per second, to any host system.
Wheel.Me (Oslo, Norway) – a Robotics and IoT company that helps people improve the way they live and work by enabling “everything” indoors to move effortlessly on smart wheels.
